Three Years to Transform Your Life!
Since 1987 students of all ages and walks of life have come to share the very special atmosphere of the Alexander Re-education Centre, run by Ron Colyer in a quiet corner of rural Berkshire. Most of them complete the three-year Teacher Training, and receive the teaching certification of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT). Others just want the time, space and guidance to make fundamental changes in the way they think, move, react, balance, speak, sing, run, dance - in short, to find a new level of skill and ease in the way they live their lives.

To be a good teacher of the Alexander Technique it's necessary to embody the principles at a deep level in yourself, so as well as gaining a respected professional qualification you will also experience very profound and beneficial personal change through the training—physically, mentally and emotionally.

As well as the full training we offer individuals the chance to come for a shorter period of time, wishing perhaps to consolidate the individual lessons they may have had, or to enrich and offer support to another career or interest such as music, acting or dance.
